PYFFO Business
Build a better business.
Find what is wasting your company's time, put a number on it, fix the ones worth fixing — and know afterwards whether it actually worked.
$999 once, for one named company. No subscription, no account, and nothing leaves your device unless you send it.
Who it is for
The person who already suspects.
Owners, directors and managers of small and medium businesses who can feel that work is harder than it should be, and want something better than a hunch to act on.
It is not a task manager. Tasks may come out of the analysis, but the thing PYFFO works on is friction, and the first option is often to stop doing the work at all.
What it finds
The five that cost the most, and are noticed the least.
Duplicated work
The same information typed into two systems, because nothing joins them up. PYFFO asks who would notice if you stopped keeping the second copy.
Manual transfers
Reading off one screen and keying into another. Usually connectable, and almost never counted.
Waiting
Work standing still for an approval, a callback or a signature — the cost is the delay, not the task.
Reporting overhead
Figures rebuilt by hand each month. PYFFO asks who reads it, and what they do differently because of it.
Key-person dependency
Only one person can produce the quote. The work should continue; the arrangement where one person is the only one who can do it should not.
Avoided work
Overdue, important and put off again. A first-class finding, because the friction is starting rather than doing.
How it works
Six stages, then a number you can check.
- Capture — an audit walks structured conversations, one per kind of friction.
- Challenge — every conversation asks why the work is like this.
- Quantify — how often, how long, how many people. Your numbers, not ours.
- Prioritise — score the friction and the cost of the remedy.
- Act — Now, Next, Investigate or Leave it, each with an owner and a date.
- Confirm — record what the change actually recovered.
Every figure shows its working. A priority of 30.0 is displayed as
180 ÷ (3 + 1 + 2), so if you disagree with a number you can
see exactly which answer to change.
Run more than one audit — a department at a time, or the same area a year apart — and PYFFO points out when two of them look like the same problem described twice, holding the smaller figure back from the company total until you decide.
Recovery is tracked as three separate numbers: estimated, confirmed and current. An improvement that came back is not still recovering.
An example, with its assumptions shown
Four people, half an hour a day.
4 people × 30 minutes × 20 working days = 40 hours a month
40 hours × 12 = 480 hours a year
At a loaded $50 an hour, that is $2,000 a month, or $24,000 a year
Assumptions: 20 working days a month, a loaded cost of $50 an hour, and the work genuinely stopping rather than moving elsewhere. One recurring item can be hundreds of hours a year — PYFFO makes that case visible with your own numbers. It does not guarantee the result.
Your data
Your business stays your business.
PYFFO does not need, want or have the ability to read what you put into it.
No account, no login, no PYFFO server. There is no content database to breach and no analytics carrying your audit. Everything stays on the device until you share a report yourself.
What you are buying
$999, once, for one company.
- One named company. Commercial use, for that company.
- As many audits as you want, run in parallel or a year apart.
- No subscription, no in-app purchase to unlock anything, no licence key.
- Working with client companies instead? That is PYFFO Advisor.
Questions before you buy go to Support, which also covers backing up and moving your data.
Every report you share is marked:
Prepared for {Company} using PYFFO Business
The company name is fixed once a report carrying it has left the device, because somebody is holding a copy that says it. Correct a typo before then; after that, starting again under a different name means erasing what is there.
PYFFO Business is coming soon. One company. One payment. No subscription.
