Support
Get help with PYFFO.
Support is by email, from the person who builds it. Email support@pyffo.com.au.
I aim to reply within two business days, Australian Eastern time. If something is broken rather than confusing, say so in the subject line and it goes to the front.

PYFFO cannot recover your data.
Your audits live on your device and nowhere else. There is no account and no server copy, so support cannot view, reset, restore or transfer your data — not as a policy, but because it does not exist on our side.
That is the same design that lets PYFFO promise your business stays your business, and it has one obligation attached: keep your own exports. Export after any audit worth keeping, and store it wherever you keep other business records.
If your device is lost, replaced or wiped, your export is the only way back.
Devices
What PYFFO runs on.
- iPhone and iPad — iOS or iPadOS 15 or later.
- Android phones and tablets — Android 5.0 or later.
All three editions run on both. There is no desktop version, and no web version of the apps — the assessment on this site is a demonstration of the method, not the product.
PYFFO works offline. Nothing about it needs a connection, including opening an audit, adding friction, running the numbers or producing a report. A connection is only involved when you choose to send something.
Buying, restoring and updating
Purchases and licences.
Restoring a purchase
PYFFO is a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play, tied to the store account you bought it with. Reinstalling on the same account restores it: sign in to that store account on the new device and install PYFFO again.
Restoring the purchase restores the app, not your audits. Those come back from your own export.
Refunds and billing
Payment is handled by Apple and Google, not by us, so refunds and billing questions have to go to whichever store you bought from — we have no access to the transaction and cannot issue a refund.
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: your Google Play order history
Anything about how the product behaves is ours. If you are not sure which you have, email us and we will tell you.
Which edition you need
The boundary is how many companies you audit, not who owns them. Business covers one named company. Advisor covers as many as you add, whether they are clients, your own, or both. Family is for a household and its exports are marked non-commercial. Compare the editions if you are between two.
Updates
Updates to the edition you bought arrive through the App Store or Google Play like any other app, and are included in the purchase. There is no subscription.
That covers the product you bought. It is not a statement about a future major version, which would be its own product and its own decision.
Your data
Backing up, moving and sharing.
Backing up
Export from the app and keep the file. This is the backup — there is no automatic one, because an automatic backup would mean a server holding your audits.
Moving to a new device
Install PYFFO on the new device using the same store account, then import your export. Do this before disposing of the old device, while both are still in front of you.
Sharing a report
Reports leave your device only when you send them, using your own email or file sharing. Business reports name the company they were prepared for; Advisor reports also name who prepared them; Family exports are marked non-commercial.
Deleting everything
Deleting the app removes its data from the device. Nothing survives elsewhere, so there is no account to close afterwards.
Accessibility
If something is unusable, that is a bug.
PYFFO is built to work with the accessibility features on your device, including larger text, screen readers and reduced motion. If a screen, control or report is hard to use with the tools you rely on, report it as you would any other fault and it will be treated as one.
Tell us which assistive technology you use and which screen it happens on, and we can usually reproduce it quickly.
Reporting a problem
What to send.
- Which edition — Business, Advisor or Family.
- The version and build, from the app's own settings screen.
- Your device and OS version, for example "iPhone 14, iOS 18.2".
- What you did, what happened, and what you expected instead.
Please do not send us your audit content:
We do not need your friction items, figures, client names or reports to fix a fault, and we would rather not hold them even briefly. A screenshot with the sensitive parts covered, or a description, is enough.
If we ever do need more, we will ask — and explain why.
